Body Mass Index

As I said before - the biggest favour you can do yourself in terms of prep is to lose weight. To calc your BMI take your weight in kg and divide this by (your height in metres squared). If the result is between 19 and 24, you're in good shape; 25 - 29, you're overweight (like me), 30 + then the doc is going to classify you obese.....

  3. Enough of this skirting round the issue, mine's 28.5 so not far off obese apparently!! According to this I'd still be in the obese category if I hit my old football playing weight so it's not the be all and end all but can be used as a guide... Anyone fancy a BMI challenge? Who can decrease their BMI by the most between now and Saturday 21st April and the loser pays £50 into the fundraising pot? Come on then, as Deliah said "Let's be 'avin you!!!!!"
